Growing up in Little Britain where his Dad owned and operated Plaunt's Farm Service, Jeremy was certainly no stranger to the "family business style of life". His father Doug owned their business for almost 40 years. After Jeremy's schooling in Lindsay he went off to complete his education at the University of Guelph where he majored in Economics, an excellent background for what was to come.
In 2003 Jeremy's family was approached by the Water Depot company to set up a store in Lindsay. Jeremy recognized immediately that this was an excellent opportunity to launch his career as a business owner. On July 15th, 2003 Jeremy opened his new store just behind the Swiss Chalet on Kent Street and has never looked back. Since that time the Water Depot store, with Jeremy at the helm, has proven to be the right move. Business has been steadily building and Jeremy has certainly made his mark in the community. With the help of Dad working part time, filling in some of his retirement hours, Randy the Service Technician, Jeff the Water Consultant and Treatment Professional, Denise, Vicki and Victoria working part time after school, the Water Depot store in Lindsay is well staffed to serve all of your needs.
