Step one foot into Tracy's little shop of beads on Hwy #35 and you will be blown away with a blast of colour and glitz! The sparkle, the shine, the amazing shapes and styles of thousands of tiny beads are absolutely awesome! At the tender age of three years old, Tracy's father bought her a little glass beading kit for Christmas. Young Tracy's eyes sparkled with delight at her gift and from that point on she says she was addicted to beading. Tracy hails from Nova Scotia and she and her family, her husband Richard, and two children have spent the last 13 years making their home here in the Kawarthas.

All her life Tracy has been experimenting with designs for jewellery, and various crafts, such as Christmas decorations, beaded clothing, including the latest fashion of beaded bra-straps, incense burners and many many other items as well as making her own patterns and beading kits which has qualified her to be classified as a "designer in bead weaving". Jewellery however has been her speciality and her passion, and as such, she decided five or six years ago to try her hand at Beading as a business. She put all her efforts into teaching herself how to design her own web page and sell her jewellery on-line, as well as her patterns and beading kits so her customers could make their own pieces.

Since that time Tracy has been very successful with her on-line retail store. She has also been successful with e-bay sales. In June of 2005 her husband Richard encouraged her to open her own retail store. Since that time her little store has become very successful with well over 300 steady customers in the area as well as customers who travel to her little store from all over Southern Ontario. She has also gained a wealth of learning experience. Both in operating her own(non-virtual) retail outlet and in creating new designs as her customers havechallenged her with learning many different methods of beading to satisfy their specificneeds. Drop by her store with a query aboutbeading and Tracy has no qualms in spending time with you showing you techniques to create your own work. T.M.G. specializes in Czech Seadbeads 10/0, Bead Mixes, Pressed Glass Beads, Semi Precious Beads, Semi Precious Rounds, Swarovski Crystlas, Pearls & Shell Beads, Machine Cut Beads, Acrylic Beads, Lampwork Beads & Pendants. Tracy can supply all the tools and accessories you would need to create your own beautiful items.

To help the new beader get started Tracy has in stock, patterns of her own design, beading kits, starter kits in containers with locking compartments perfect for traveling and craft cases specially designed for beads. Tracy purchases her stock from all over the world so there is no limit to the product she can supply to the experienced beader who would alternatively have to make the trek into Toronto.

Tracy is very keen on starting up a "Kawartha Lakes Beading Group" where you could get free help with your projects. Her recommendation for this group would be to meet on the last Sunday of every month from 1pm - 4pm. Anyone interested in joining such a group should get in touch with Tracy at 705-359-1842

Whether you are an experienced and serious beader or someone who thinks they would just like to try their hand at this beautiful craft, drop by Tracy's little shop on the west side of Hwy #35 just a few minutes north of Lindsay, or browse her website at www.tmg-beads.ca and you will be thrilled with the display and beauty of the beads and amazed at the wonderful projects you could create.
