During his 27-year career on the Toronto Police Force, Brian spent his spare time taking pleasure from his “hobby/passion”, of designing kitchens and bathrooms. He actually designed his very first kitchen back in 1965, and he was designing and manufacturing kitchens for about the last twelve years that he was on the Force. When he retired from the Force, he then went into the business full time as he was influenced by his desire to do select jobs and work directly with the public. Since that time, with hard work and faith in himself, his business, Kawartha Lakes Cabinetry has grown to become a very busy enterprise for Brian and his staff.
Brian and his wife Elaine, (who often comes up with some pretty good design ideas herself), and their daughter have made their home in Bolsover since 1999.
